Frequently Asked Questions About Custom Bookmarks

What exactly is the standard bookmark product?

The standard product is a 2" x 6" bookmark with rounded corners printed on 14pt C2S cardstock. It includes full-color printing on one or both sides. All other options like custom sizes, die-cut shapes, specialty paper stocks, and 5th color inks are considered special orders.

What is a "5th color" and how does it work on bookmarks?

Standard printing uses four ink colors (CMYK). Our Ricoh Pro C7500 press has a fifth station for special effect toners. This allows us to add Metallic Gold, Silver, Neon Pink, Neon Yellow, UV Blacklight, or Spot Varnish in the same print pass—affordable, with no plate fees. This is a special order upgrade. Please email orders@lampro.com to inquire.

Can I order a small batch for an upcoming book signing?

Absolutely! We have a low minimum of just 25 bookmarks on our standard 14pt C2S product. This makes it easy and affordable for authors to test designs for events, conventions, or book launches. Need them fast? Ask about our rush production options.

Can teachers and schools get special discounts?

Yes! We offer special non-profit and educational discounts for schools, libraries, and qualifying organizations. We also offer flexible payment options and can provide quotes for district-wide orders. Contact us for a teacher-specific quote.

What are digital die-cut shapes and how do they work?

Our digital die cutter uses a precision blade to cut custom shapes—no expensive custom metal dies required. This means we can create any shape (logos, characters, silhouettes) with low minimums and fast turnaround. This is a special order service. Please email orders@lampro.com with your shape ideas!

Can I get tassels or ribbons added to my bookmarks?

Yes! We offer hole drilling(standard 1/8" or 1/4") so you can easily add your own tassels, ribbons, or charms. We can also source and attach premium silk tassels or satin ribbons as a custom finishing service. These are special order options. Email orders@lampro.com for details.

What's the best paper for metallic gold or neon effects?

For maximum impact, we recommend 16pt Gloss or High Gloss (UV) cardstock —it creates a brilliant, reflective surface. For a more luxurious feel, 16pt Silk or Soft Touch is an excellent choice. These paper stocks and ink effects are available via special order. Email orders@lampro.com.

Can you match my bookmark design to other promotional materials?

Absolutely! We can ensure consistent branding across bookmarks, flyers , coasters , event badges , and counter mats . Apply the same 5th color effects across all products (special order).
